Allaah says:
“They did not witness the creation of the heavens and the earth nor their own creation, nor did I take those who mislead as ‘Adudan.” (18:51)
So Allaah is saying, ‘These whom you take as helpers instead of Me are creatures just like you. They do not possess anything and did not witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, because they did not exist at that time.’ Allaah is saying. ‘I am the One Who independently and exclusively creates and controls all things, and I have no partner, associate or advisor in that.’
As Allaah says:
“Say: “Call upon those you claim besides Allaah, they possess not even a speck of dust in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor is there for Him any assistant among them. Intercession with Him profits not except for him whom He permits.”” (34:22-23)
Similarly, Allaah says here:
“…nor did I take those who mislead as ‘Adudan (assistants).”

So let each man abandon the worship of the creation and turn to the One True Creator; He who created him, sustains him, provides for him, watches over him. He who gifted him with fine form and speech and ability.
How will it profit you to worship a man who was in need of food and drink and sleep?
How will it profit you to worship a woman who did not even possess control over her own womb?
How will it profit you to worship a cow that lives and dies, and defecates?
How will it profit you to worship the earth and the stars when they did not create themselves and rather were created?
There is none that has the right to be worshipped except Allaah Alone. There is no might nor power except with Him. Surely, He is the Best of Creators.
